i very much agree with caitlin's latest entry in her diary, swingline53.diaryland.com, about how the people who protest our war and want peace are completely oblivious to the fact that the soldiers are in iraq fighting for them. they don't need to be there, they arent required to do so, but they are. they're over there fighting and risking their lives so people can be free. even people, like these protestors, that are exercising their rights that they would not have if not for these soldiers. i wish people would open their eyes sometimes, and see that if there is no war, there would be no peace. okay, so that's an oxymoron, but do you understand what i'm saying? when the japanese bombed pearl harbor, if we had not joined into WW2, the war would still be going on. sometimes the only solution is to stop it. and that's what we're doing right now. people don't see that. peace is not going to be reached until we can get that crazy son of a bitch saddam hussein and his regime out of iraq. if we had not attacked, he would nuke us, or another country, and the world would end. would you rather that happen?

sorry about that, i was watching the news earlier and i saw that lakeview drive in chicago was completely crowded with protestors, and it made me think. on to a lighter note. i've been thinking alot lately. for the past six months or so, i have liked my neighbor matt, and i dont know why. so i have comprised a list, and later on, you will see another list, of why i like my friend sal. i will later compare the lists. so here goes.

Matt's List.

1.He makes me laugh. And when he finds something that i find hilarious, he says it over and over, so i just laugh constantly when i'm with him. don't ask me why.

2. he tells dirty jokes. and i find them hilarious, once again. i don't know why, but he's really bad at telling them, and it makes me laugh even more.

3. he likes talking to me about anything. it seems that whenever i talk, anything else is way less important than what i have to say. and its the same with me. i love to hear what he has to say.

4. he listens to me, and says random things later on. i tell him things, and then he'll bring them up in conversation about a week later. for instance. i told him i liked the beatles forever ago, and out of the blue when i was leaving, he says, "are you going to listen to the beatles?". this may seem dumb to you, but it makes me smile to know that he thinks of me.

5. hes such a nerd, it makes me laugh at him... i've never liked someone before that is in band, likes video games, and talks about techtv. it makes me laugh.

6. hes got big ears...

thats all i have for now, you can tell a big thing is making me laugh. i don't know why.

1. he's got a killer smile, and eyes... it gets me every time.

4. theres something that just makes me can't wait for 3rd hour and 5th hour... just to be in the same room with him...

5. he laughs at me.... makes fun of my little tendencies, but not in a mean way. in a playful way...

6. he makes fun of my dimples, how they're there even when i don't smile, and he says they're cute........
